Anthony J. Shepherd, CPP (Tony). Tony is a distinguished security executive and
strategist with over four decades of experience leading complex security operations
across federal, commercial, and international domains.
A recognized leader in the industry, Tony has held CEO and senior executive positions
at some of the largest and most complex security organizations in the United States. He
spearheaded multimillion-dollar federal contracts, implemented workforce automation
tools, and drove a culture shift that reduced costs and improved health and safety
outcomes.

Tony is a Board-Certified Professional (CPP) through ASIS International. He maintains advanced credentials in federal facility security. Tony continues to influence the security
field as a trusted advisor, innovator, and advocate for operational excellence.
In retirement, Tony wrote his autobiography, From Down Under to the American Dream.
Most recently, a second book, Rookie Marshal. A detailed guide to benefit brand new
marshals thinking about entering or beginning volunteering in motorsports. Tony is also a Sports Car Club of America life member.

Tony’s latest book, Rookie Marshal, is a detailed reference and story of one of the most passionate and tight-net communities in motor racing. The book is a step by step guide to help a new marshal get on station and begin volunteering in local, regional, national and international racing locations
